Great info once again Bryan
My mods have turned out rather similar to yours so I'm always interested to hear how your build is going and how its set up. If it means better control (safer also I presume) and response then I might get a 3 port BCS to round things off. Not to confuse matters then, one would need:

Option 1: The BCS connector ($7) & GM pigtail with the GM 3 port BCS; OR
Option 2: The BCS Adapter Harness with the GM 3 port BCS; OR
Option 3: GST Boost pill with stock solenoid.

Cheers,
Matt.

Yup correct.

For option 1 and 2 you use straight vac lines with no pills or T's or such. With Option 3 you use the stock vac line assembly with boost pill upgrade.

Are you going to be running a full exhaust? I keep kicking around the idea of replacing my stock catback but it's so nice to have the car quiet.

Ahh interesting, so no T connection either. Makes perfect sense

Yep, I'll be running an UR 3" set up from the O2/Downpipe back to the tips. I realize it will be considerably louder which to be honest is a bit of a concern (we draw as much unwanted attention as you guys in Cali almost). I'll install it, and if its too loud for my liking I'll consider another alternative for the cat back (TurboXS or the like). What have you looked into?

The UR is loud as the gates of hell. haha

I've looked into ETS stealth and AMS stealth but from the sound bites they still seem louder then I want.

The HKS is quiet but in all honesty I don't think it's any better flowing then stock and costs $800+

I'm considering a custom 3" catback with large muffler and mid pipe resonator...

The car is making 360whp currently which is enough to trap 115+ so I can't complain...

That loud eh, haha. Jeez, that's what I was afraid of.
I went with the resonator option too but frankly, I doubt it's going to make much difference on it's own. I've considered getting it altered at a local shop here, adding a bigger muffler so we'll see how it goes.

Yeah you're making some mind numbing numbers on your RA now on E85.
Part for part, I'm almost the same as you minus the injectors, fuel pump and E85 tune (I ended up getting the AEM intake in the end.)
If I can put down comparable results as what you did prior to going E85, I'll be grinning ear to ear.

It's first trip to the snow... here is to many more... not much snow on the roads yet but hey it's only the start of December.

Reason #457 I love my Sportback:

Obviously the MPG gauge is a bit off with larger injectors and E85.

Car actually averaged about 19mpg to and from Tahoe on E85. Not bad at all.

Yea that shot was on the way back and almost at the bottom of the mountain. Was a warmer weekend. Although it was really more like mid 50's out at that time. The way I re-positioned the ambient sensor because of my FMIC install causes it to get heat soaked quickly if the car isn't moving.

Up top at Tahoe it was 38* or so mid day and in the 20's in the late morning.

Btw that "caution icy roads" alert gets annoying when you are driving in and out of shadows and the temp hovers between 37 and 38*...

Hey Brian, what tires are you using to drive up to the snow and how does it perform? I'm looking to replace my stockers with a set of all-seasons to go to the snow this winter too.

Continental DWS. So far so good but they haven't really seen fresh snow yet, it was just wet and slushy on the main roads last trip.

However I used the old model conti's (Extreme) the last three years in Tahoe in some pretty significant storms and they worked great and the DWS's are supposed to be even better.

I was looking into the DWS too but they seem to be backordered from tirerack.

BTW I think the white SB will look alot nicer with a roof rack!! At least thats how I want mine to look. lol
