Minor update.
Ever since I installed the magnaflow catback, I continue to have fueling problems (maxing IDC out), even at lower boost pressure, when running through the gears.
Hopefully I have some time soon to put the new larger Walbro pump in and see if that helps...
When the car isn't starving for fuel it's an absolute rocket, espically now in the cooler outside temps.

I lowered the boost and it was ok until the temps started dropping, now in the morning in 40-50F it maxes the IDC's again... Saw 14 AFR at WOT in 4th today on my morning WOT on-ramp...

Yea I made a thread about it back in August: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...ne-static.html

BTW, jealous you have a WOT ramp for your morning commute. If I attempted WOT at any point in my hour and 15 minute commute I'd run into the back of someone. Max speed on my way to work is about 50 and only for seconds at a time. Usually hovering between 0 and 30.

So, for those of you driving around modified cars without a wideband O2 monitoring device, here's another testament as to why you should very seriously consider getting one as soon as possible.
Sorry to detract from your thread Bryan, but there are so many on here modelling themselves after your awesome build and too many fail to take proper precautions simply because in their online viewing they may have "seen someone else do it without any problems" but really have no idea of the attention to detail and continuing effort that goes into the upkeep of a properly modified vehicle such as yours.
I'm done now. Back to the awesomeness... So when exactly are you planning on taking that beast car-bowling? Ever?

Somewhat OT, but this should offer just another reminder that even on a reputable tuner's personal car, that is professionally tuned and regularly maintained and monitored, things can happen without notice that may be out of your control. Without the wideband gauge and proper monitoring, even Bryan could have been in for a very unpleasant experience if he continued to go WOT repeatedly running with AFR's in the 14's

Very impressive work there Bryan. The SB is a very sharp looking ride and yours is very slick indeed. Makes my next car selection more promises to be a SB than the WRX.
It is very appreciative of the research and mods you are providing to inform the masses on how one can effectively improve their car, this information is invaluable.
thank you and I look forward to more updates

It will shift you just need to practice pulling your foot up to about half throttle right before you shift. I have mastered this if my motor wouldn't have went that night at the track I probably would have ran 11.6-7 easily. Just lift your foot a little when shifting but not to much where you lose boost
