With the heat shield on you cannot tell the difference. In fact I bet a dealer couldn't even tell the difference just looking over the engine bay, even with the heat shield off.

My plan for this ralliart is to keep it all OEM appearing under hood. I will be using all stock Mitsu parts, at least for the first phase.

The exhaust manifolds don't look different above when installed on the car. With turbo sits below the exhaust manifold and the only thing you see is the compressor outlet and the Ralliarts TD04 outlet is identical to the X's TD05 outlet. So everything is stock appearing in the back. The Ralliarts intake system won't work with the X's compressor inlet tube though, so that's really the only way a dealership might be able to tell.

Yea I don't think that is going to happen given the very low demand / market share of the Ralliart but I would love to be proven wrong.

What does the 3 port boost solenoid do? And what did you pay for it and the price for the Zeitronix wideband?

Had some free time to do some installs on the sportback.

Installed the Eibach prokit springs. The rear is a pita.

Also installed a UR testpipe with mini muffler. I ran out of time to throw it back on the dyno but I did do some quick little street pulls today to clean up the tune.

It is now time to get this craptastic OEM FMIC off this car. The logs are unbelievable!

This is 1st through 4th gear WOT pull, and this in Fahrenheit:



Blue is intake manifold temp sensor, orange is metered at the MAF.

yes that is 115F measured at the intake manifold once into 4th gear, while the air ingestion at the MAF is 67F

UR posted OEM was at 116F @6500 so your numbers are in tune (pardon the pun) with them. Their FMIC gave 64F so that is a dramatic decrease in temps to be sure
I also would like to see what HP gains are made with an upgrade to the FMIC

I have a Evo 10 FMIC already sitting on my desk (well, under it)

It would be good to get data from it as well. Depends on what kind of time I have.
