AMS Flash and Intake?

Does anyone have the AMS flash and cold air intake installed? Looking to have this done and just wondered if anyone had any feedback??

Thanks

For the flash you just send in the ECU, they reflash it and send it back. You plug it back in and you're golden.
For the intake, the hardest part is getting the oem one off. It's not terribly hard, but can be time consuming depending on how your metal clips that hold it in place are positioned. Nothing that you can't do in your garage on a free day though.
You'll also need the mini battery to fit the intake, this is mentioned on the website.
You'll enjoy the gains though. Might as well go with the boost pill too for the flash, I think the pill is $20.
If you need anything else just ask.

I thought I had read before on their website that they could send you a cable and email you the program and you could flash the computer yourself? Is that an option to save on downtime? Hows the drivability?

My car drives a lot better, as in accelerates faster. Yea they just came out with that program recently. When I installed mine I had to send my ECU in, so if you want to do that go for it.

This is on my list to do...
Soooo whenever you have to take it to the dealership, what do you do about the flash?
I guess if you had the cable and program, then you could go back and forth?

That would be the idea if I did end up having an issue. My dealership is pretty cool and said that I could bring the car in with the mods for service and if anything happened I could take them off. However I have been reading a lot about the Evo X swap and wonder if that is the way to go or do the AMS flash and bolt ons?
