Injen SP cold Air Intake System for the 09 RA

Has anyone successfully installed the Injen SP Cold Air Intake System for the 09 RA? If so, were there any special tweaking you had to do to make it fit or work with the factory hoses etc.? From the pics I have seen it looks like you can use it with the factory battery?

easy only thing you have to relocate is the trans cooler and the smaller relay box

I don't have one installed but I remember seeing a post on here that the Injen CAI is a super tight fit if you have the stock HID projector headlights(Recaro Sport Pack). The member made it fit, had to do some trimming if I recall correctly.

I do have the Recaro package. Do you have a better intake solution that may not take as much or any modifying or adjusting? I don't mind making adustments but I would at least like to know if there is a better option.

I don't think you would have to move the trans cooler but you definitely have to do something else with the battery.

U don't actually move the trans cooler, it comes with a new bracket and u just angle it back more I believe so the filter will fit.

The stock intake in the RA is actually pretty decent, if you just got a good panel filter you wouldnt need a tune and you get more airflow easy...I know that AEM is developing an intake for the RA, not sure when its going to be done, they are still in R&D.

I've heard it's good until you upgrade turbo's. I put a HKS super hybrid panel filter in it for the time being.
