Need FMIC advice

hey guys,

So i just ordered a Cp-e full exhaust w/ quickpipe, and i have my UR SRI, but i haven't installed it yet. i'm going to order a FMIC, probably a UR one and then go and get it tuned at lightspeed perf. my question is, do i need to get a LICP or can i use the stock ones. Or what gains will it give me?

thx

A lot of people are going just the UICP no LICP change. You don't see much gains with the LICP. As for the gains UR website states 20+

UICP is very highly recommended, and will yield the best gains in regards to I/C piping upgrades. stock LICP can be re-used, but you'll need to purchase a 2.5" straight silicone coupler, as mentioned above, to mate it to the larger i/c core outlet.

i personally upgraded the LICP at the same time as the I/C and UICP since i was going to have the bumper off anyway when i did the install and the stock LICP does have that indentation in the plastic tubing right after the intercooler. apparently it doesnt make a whole lot of difference, but any restriction is still a restriction.

The stock LICP is garbage.
Replace both.
