ralliart transmission might be faulty

Went to the dealer today to get my 09 ralliart to get some recalls done on it. To find out I might have a faulty transmission. What mine does it hesitates with three to four quick jerks before going and it does this from a dead stop then going reverse or forward. I have to wait to see what tech says about the situation. I have 19200 on it and had it since sept 08. My brakes feel alot better and firmer though and I hear the turbo alot more on accel.

no the jerks from 1st to 2nd I know that is normal because of the dual clutch sst but mine is happening with starting in 1st gear and reverse. When you first start pressing the gas it hesitates/ small quick hops before actually going. I thought it was the tires but my tires are still good.

Try to get the updated reflash from GST. I had that jerk a lot of times, but now with that reflash it don't get it anymore. It more so that the clutches are releasing to quickly for the throttle your applying. It's the same thing with a stick shift car. If you release the clutch out too fast you get stuttering and shaking like hopping.

Mine didn't jerk, just started slipping. It was at 22,000 miles though. Seems that most of them let go around 20,000 miles if they are going to.

Yeah i just hit 12000 miles the other night and launch my car once a week at my local drag strip. Often i do hard pulls and go wide open throttle. I wouldnt say i beat it up but i will say for the price, time and money invested, Im getting my moneys worth..Knock on wood but ive never had a tranny problem and hope to do a few upgrades, AMS cooler, deeppan, etc. I bought the car almost one year ago with 74 miles on it, i was at the dragstrip with the temp tags..You just gotta know when to let off and when to go.

I've the noticed that the jerkiness is more pronounced at lower speeds and when the motor and transmission is cold. Once it has warmed up, it isn't so bad.

Have any of you guys noticed an electronic hesitation. It hasn't happened for a few months but every now and again when shifting into reverse from a stand still the indicator on my display will just flash for a few moments and I would then feel the trans kick into gear. If you were to touch the gas it would just rev.

I have noticed the electronic hesitation when shifting into reverse, but it doesn't happen very often. When it does happen though, the R only flashes for a split-second and then I am on my way.

I have spoke to the engineers at Mits because my car was doing the same thing and I have had alot of my customers say the same thing, they told me it is normal for the SST to do this when driving slow; however there are some instances where it may not be normal but very few.
