Order of upgrade path
I've seen posts before that spell out the path one should take to modify the car in the most efficient way without spending extra money on parts that may or may not work well for the power goals you are trying to attain. Anyone feel confident enough to give us all a list in an order for HP goals?

Is it safe to say then that the GST flash is safe to use and trust with a boost pill and drop in filter? I was under the impression that the V2 flash is still not quite finished. Shift errors?

Yes, the bugs in the V2 flash are currently being worked out right now, but there is nothing wrong with the V1 flashes.

The stock BOV is very leaky. Replacing it won't add HP, but it will improve turbo spool up.

The GST flash is safe to use w/ the boost pill and drop-in filter. Just make sure you use the correct flash (91 Oct vs. 93 Oct and Boost Pill vs. Stock Pill).

Then TBE and hard charge pipes next?

[QUOTE=EvoOtto;8540140]Do the stock ralliart BOV's not perform well or just not reliable?
[QUOTE]
for 80$ i would go for EvoX BOV if ure spending money on tuning the car anyway.. ppl report it starts leaking at 22psi ... U can probably reach that pressure with a nice tune

The OEM ralliart BOV is plastic, and doesn't hold well under high boost levels. The Evo X BOV is metal and holds much better.

Honestly, I would say start with the exhaust. Thats what I did. Hes why its a good idea to do that. You will gain horsepower, increase airflow from the turbo, and you wont need a tune after doing a full turbo back, catback, whatever. That way, you have time to get the tune that you want. What I am trying to say is, you go out and get an intake, your going to need a tune immediately. For the money, with a tune, I think an exhaust nets more gain, and helps the car overall. But, essentially its up to you. The direction you take the car with mods is what separates your car from the next.
No matter what, you are going to get different answers from different people on this...exactly because of what I said above. There is no right way to go when first modding your car. As long as your not putting on parts that are going to destroy your car, its a step in the right direction. If you really want the best answer to this, do some research on parts your interested in, see which one appeals to you the most and go with it.
