The OTS stage 2 is specifically for a stock boost pill. Only changes to my car are a K&N panel filter and a turbo back exhaust. I find it really odd that your boost peaks are so different between tunes.

I know, it is very very odd. I talked to a couple more tuners today and they are puzzled why it would be doing that. Now here is what could potentially be a dumb question, but, I have recently updated my AP, when you update the AP using the program, does that update the maps as well as the firmware? Is it possible that its an old map and hence my issues with boost?

It just updated the firmware AFIK. Might try downloading the maps directly from the site and try again.

Ok, so here is something to make things a little more weird. As I said earlier, not hitting boost targets with Stage 2 map. I flashed back to stage 1 93 map and I have been hitting 20.5psi of boost. The car is pulling very hard, but its set to stage 1 93, been reflashed and reset. Odd huh.

Can you look at the actual maps on the AP and see what is really going on? I'm guessing not or it wouldn't be such a mystery.

I totally would but I do not understand how that stuff works, wish I did. Cobb is taking a look at some logs I sent them, but is there any potential reason why this could be happening? Maps are screwed up maybe?

I wouldn't want to speculate too much, but it seems your issue is not mechanical since stage 1 runs well.....

At first Cobb said it was an issue with my car, but thats before they saw the logs. Odd that I am hitting 20.5psi on stage 1 map.

Hate to revive an old thread, NECRO THREAD woo!

I have ran into this exact same problem as stated by OP. Stage one, GREAT 18.5 psi no issues, stage 2, 13.5..

Was this ever figured out? I assume it's a map issue, kind of disappointing, but the 18.5 for stage one is great for now until I can send the car to actually get tuned with the bolt on's and such later down the line.

Not sure if i missed this while i was reading but you did swap to a 3 port boost solenoid right? Stage 2 requires you swap the stock boost solenoid with a 3 port it doesn't have to specifically be Cobbs 3pbs but thats your choice. (this is not the boost pill two different things.) Ignore all this <<<< i accidently clicked ralliart on the cobb page instead of evo my bad ignore my post.

Ha, this week has been terrible to me, right there with ya. I own a 2013 Ralliart to answer the question.

So from what I've gathered, and main reason I on this topic is because I've seen a few threads, as well with a Dyno sheet on Cobb's website that states they are running stage 2 psi levels on stock boost controllers. I assumed that meant they are not using the three port from Cobb.

I will buy the 3 port because it will be required at some point, but I was basing all of the information on that tid-bit. I have Adam from BeebleTooning taking a look at the maps, and such to see if there are any issues on my end, or in the map, or if I suppose I actually need the 3 port. Just last night I flashed to Stage 2 again, and switched the maps with the cruise control hoping that would work, but to no avail. Flashed back to stage one, boost peaked at 19.1 psi.

I use the AP as well. Started with stage 1, upgraded to the EVO X intercooler and all pipes, now have a full TBE 3'' and I flashed for stage 2 and installed the Cobb 3-port boost solenoid. Was only getting around 13-14 psi on average, but the other day I finally had a chance to really get on it and I peaked at 21.69 psi.

Did you install the 3-port from Cobb? I do know that Stage 2 and 3 says Cobb requires the 3-port to be installed
