Tranny strengthening

ok i remember looking at a site that had like a 400whp 450whp and 500whp tranny strengthening packages but i cant remember where i saw this at . . if anyone knows of any tranny strengthening packages similar to this or maybe the one im looking for that would be awesome thanks!

I find that there's just as much dissenting opinion that cryo treating doesn't actually do anything. There was a lot of discussion on the old Cobb WRX Forums...which may or may not have been merged with NASIOC.

But the dissenting opinions say it does not affect tensile strength, only fatigue...and the cryo process only helps

So in short, no it wouldn't help with things like gears or rotors unless the metal fatigue was going to kill it anyways, if you believe the dissenting opinions vs. marketing copy

It would appear that cryogenics works best on materials when applied prior to final machining, which means applying the process to parts already in production will only produce marginal results. Also, it would seem that the clutches are a greater weak point than the gears, so it would be far more fortuitous to spend your money on an upgraded set of clutches than on a set of modified gears.
