You might have more luck in the Evo X forums...and specifically the threads where someone modified their muffler themselves (achieving the same effect with a simple cutting out of a pipe). From the videos, sounds pretty much stock.

What the VW guys do is chop out the mini-muffler or resonator before the main exhaust. Like on a GTI, when people remove the resonator, they get a bit more drone but it sounds significantly more aggressive; it's definitely noticeable.
I've been debating cutting out the resonator we have but I don't want to be the first one (and regret it) lol!

i have build one...
havent made a sound clip yet... but super stealth idles like stock.... at 3k you can hear it growl... at 5k plus it sounds like a quiet super car... no restrictions straight through 3" mandrel bend!!!
