Need help, I installed the AMS intercooler, look @ pic

Installed the AMS intercooler, after a week of it being on I noticed this, look @ pic. The screw from the underbody is bumping into my Front mount apparently while im driving, I hope this wont cause an issue down the road. Boost doesn't run through that lower channel does it?

This is happening on both sides

Did you try asking someone at AMS? There an employee from their company on this website. You can reach him here and send a private message if you want. Here's a link to his profile:

It's just an end plate to protect the fins, not part of the pressurized air passages.

had a filter but went back to stock, cause the aftermarket filter's maf housing was ****, cause the MAF kept bouncing Though I've seen ppl make great power with the mods i have, plus using the stock intake, supposedly it has great flow, like our stock Downpipe

cool story, its still not a "mod"

And the stock filter is GARBAGE, not sure where you got the info from.

There are quite a few intakes on the market that don't have **** maf housings, ams, UR, injen to namea few.

As mentioned above, the bottom plate is just a guard to protect the last set of fins from getting crushed and reducing the effectiveness of the last charge row.

Unless it makes unwanted noise or vibration, I wouldn't worry about it all.

Why do you care what the guy lists in his signiture? You are always posting snide comments and things.

People but all kinds of things in there signiture not sure why you feel the need to attack the guy for it.
