Yes I agree, the rev-characteristics of the 4B11T/SST are much better suited to the TD-05

I cringed at the fact it's either SRI w/ small battery or relocate battery to the trunk. Went SRI but I'll eventually move the battery to the trunk so I can put the stock or AEM box in.

All I've got left to do is reassemble hoses from top of engine bay, figure out how to hook up the Grimmspeed EBCS, refill with coolant, and reflash. Unfortunately, may not be Monday when I have time to finish it up.

You can get the AEM intake for the RA and Road Race makes an adapter so it fits for the x turbo. Probably the way im going since I wont have to relocate the battery

Do you by chance know where I could go about ordering this adapter you're talking about? Or is it something that must be ordered by email/phone? Piecing together my swap and stuck on which way to go with the intake as well, this route would certainly be better in my opinion as i'd like to keep the battery in the factory location if at all possible...

any good tuning shop/fabricator could make an adapter pipe for you. it's just pipe with couplers really. SSP-TX in Houston keeps a ton of pipe and couplers in stock to make custom requests
