Should I upgrade ic?

I am going to be running a dom 2 setup. Hopefully will hit 330-340hp. Should I upgrade ic or get a stock evo one?

Someone may agree with me, I am pretty new to this show but If you are broke maybe this isn't the best hobby to pursue. If this what you live for, by all means.

yeah I agree...but at the same time I wouldnt want to buy a riding lawnmower if my yard was 5x5. I am just wondering if the stock evo x FMIC will handle the power decently enough to get the job done well...if not ill have to start looking for FMIC.

For $500 you can purchase an ETS EVO X 3" FMIC kit with silicone couplers and stanless tbolts that will bolt right in, and can easily handle your power estimate. If you go that route, you need a 2-1/2" to 2-1/4 silicone coupler to use the stock RA LICP. An aftermarket 2-1/2" UICP is recommended, and should come with a 2-1/2" to 2" adapter for the turbo outlet.

I am happy with my ETS FMIC with just 3" turbo back exhaust, UR UICP, EVOX BOV, and Cobb AP Stage 2 93 Octane map it performs great. I will be installing the CBRD RAD turbo in the very near future to complete my engine modifications, and expect the cooling capacity of the FMIC to easily exceed my power requirements.

the EvoX FMIC will be more than efficient enough to handle anything the stock RA turbo can throw at it.

yeah for sure, but ill be throwing a Dom 2 at it. My HP goals are anywhere from 330 - 350 whp. That is why im wondering if that stock evo x fmic can handle that well...i have searched and have came up empty handed.

You "should" be fine w/ the X IC. Upgrading to something bigger & more efficient is a luxury but, by all means, if you have the funds you should definitely go bigger than the stock X IC. The great thing about replacing the IC is that's it's a somewhat easy task and you will have the option to resell your X IC later on if you decide to upgrade.

I've got the X IC on my RA now and I'll stick with it after I do my X turbo swap but when I have the funding to splurge, I'll probably upgrade to either the UR or ETS IC.

Like Brian said, it's really all about your financial standpoint.

BTW, unless I'm reading it wrong, looks like an MR that Brian tuned was running stock IC just fine around 350hp:

On another note, I spend wayyyyy too much time reading and researching on EvoM which is why I almost always link to other posts.
