Yep I'd have to agree with Brian on this one. With the Fuel pressure regulator hose off the fuel presure won't increase as the boost increases. You'll end up with a massive lean condition....Mininium holed/melted piston. However you're video has a real metalic sound at one point so I suspect there's something else broken too.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news...

Lesson learned from this, I now realize there is nothing really securing that hose. Looks like I need more hose clamps to avoid this from happening.

Ya with tha amount of work you've put into her, I wouldn't let her go either
I think I've seen some blocks listed for $2-3K depending on mileage, if that helps; good luck!

long and short blocks come up in the EvoX private sale section every now and then. That may be a good place to start...

Can you give me some details on the hose clamps you're referring to here please?(type, brand, picture, where can I get them, etc.) I'm just using a ziptie right now, but I still feel like I can't get it as tight as would like on the hose, and so I was wondering if there was something else that would be more secure and reliable.

I wonder why the SES light didn't come on if it was running lean.

The mini small zipties work fine. I use them on both my Evo that has seen 30psi and my RA which has seen 28psi. The trick is to use the mini zipties, not the normal size.

For added security you can also use hair spray.
