Though, he does use the word "random" so if it's not a regularly occurring thing, perhaps the fan clutch engaging. Do your radiator/condenser fans come on right after the knock/click?
Pay more attention to detail and come in here with better info than: "I have a knock at idle". Cold/warm engine. How often. What else is going on. Etc. Be as specific as possible, otherwise we could internet diagnose the problem as an evil gremlin that keeps hammering at the block with his evil chisel every time you think it's finally gone.

I have the same noise coming from my engine at idle..I took my car to the dealership and they said it was normal, but would order a part from japan to quiet down the noise..they said it was called a Dampner.

I took my car in before I knew it was normal and they had ordered an aftermarket part that they called a drive lug. They also said mitsubishi was aware of the noise and told them not to order the stock drive lug and to order the special aftermarket one. The noise went away for a little while but now its back after about 10k miles.
