Ralliart Intakes
What are the Intakes the Ralliart 08+ has?
I know we got Ultimate Racing SRI
Also AMS
problem with those two is...
the UR SRI will get prolly get heat soaked? rite? or not?
AMS - i would get this but the issue is that i have a Carbon Fiber Hood .. the two vents on the front are almost OPEN.. (they have this little grill on them) but when it rains.. water gets in.... (the middle scoop has the oem rain guard + heatshield.. so im good w/ that one)
+ my friend told me the AMS for the ralliart turbo is an overkill =/ so idk
i was wondering what other Intakes do we have besides those 2?
thanks for the help

While this is something easily answered by clicking the Railliart Live Mod List or searching, here you go:
Drop-in Filter:
K&N
HKS
Works
Ralliart
Cosworth
Short Ram Intake:
Ultimate Racing
CBRD
AMS
EvoX (MAF tube conversion)
Cold Air Intake:
Injen
Coltspeed
Other:
AEM (not quote cold air, not quite short ram)
Source: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/09...-mod-list.html
Next time do a bit of research yourself rather than just asking everyone else to do it for you please.

Im going to be geting the new AEM in the mail within a week and a half...its enclosed...im sure youve seen it already. Gains seem very very respectable untuned, so with a tune it should be interesting.

Most intakes trick the MAF into leaning out your car. That is a bad idea IMHO. Instead, use an intake that flows more air, and use the tune to do the leaning out. It's not weird, its the right way to do it.

I went with the AEM as well, because it doesn't require a tune.

It increases boost through vacuum line trickery and a slightly enlarged MAF, on the Evo X and I would say it's more than likely the same on the RA.
Injen, AEM, even UR said they don't need a tune with their intake for our cars...which is technically true. I still wouldn't have that on my car without one, and once you're tuned, you've tuned away the "benefit" of the power from that intake.
Ironically, only the intake that everyone seems to shout down as needing a tune, (using the evo x maf and a cone filter), has multiple people with widebands stating that it doesn't run lean.

I have the WORKS drop-in high flow filter. Very high quality and my gas milage has improved around an extra 15-20 miles till empty depending on how my driving is. I used to get about 200- 210 miles till E and now I get around 230 till E. It really sucks in a lot more air as well. Just my 2 cents.
