Boost irregular with 2.6 base map
I have the muffler mod, TP, UICP, FMIC, muffler mod and EVO DV. Brian made some small adjustments for my on the 2.6 map. I have been running this map for a couple months now. Now all of a sudden it felt like my boost started to just build, peek, and release. It would do this all the way up through the rpm's. It also sounds like the DV flutters if I let off at the right time while in boost. Any thoughts?

That's good that your getting the tune tweaked by him because you have more mods.
I know out of all your mods the EVO DV effects the boost a lot, but your getting that tuned.
That DV is a good one and holds boost well. Probably too much boost in which the colder air might be making the boost spike alittle.

Not sure? I don't know what to look for and where to look. I do know I was touching 24 psi. The map was not adjusted for anything but the TP at the time. I guess I should get a custom tune done now.

How about you join the v27 Base Map testing party?
Boost control system has been totally rewritten. I guarantee you won't get a custom tune that has the advances found in the new base maps.
PSI-based boost control, IAT adjusted BWGDC (to correct for winter overboosting), altitude-adjusted boost targets using Baro sensor, and a patch to address boost spikes at WOT upshift (good old SST).
That's just boost control. V27 also has Bryan's latest SST tuning updates and other tweaks.

I really want to flash the new map now that I have it but I can't figure out this darn boost issue. I have no boost leaks, BCS is good and DV is fine. Anyone have a suggestions? Boost just fluctuates up and down across the rpm range.
