Any Euro-spec Ralliart owners out there with a FACTORY engine oil cooler?
Calling all European Ralliart owners!
Do you perhaps have one of those rare Ralliarts with an ENGINE OIL COOLER tucked away behind your foglamp?...
...and big thanks to razorlab for the image file I'm linking to here...
...like THIS:
Note that it's not an Evo X oil cooler. On the X, the oil feeder pipes connect to the cooler on the opposite side to the above example.
I've tried to track this assembly down at a Ralliart dealer in Europe, but they find it pretty hard to call up part numbers without having the specific VIN of a Ralliart that actually came like that from factory.
So... go take a look through the foglamp grille on that side. Do you see just a squirty bottle staring back at you? Or do you WIN and have an oil cooler like the above?
If you WIN, can I pleeeease have your VIN?
Cheers,
Rich
PS. If I'm lucky enough to find and order all of this - and it's not stupidly overpriced - the test-fit will be very interesting indeed. Would it all just bolt up perfectly? Here's hoping...

Yeah, at present there are more questions than answers with this oil cooler plan.
Will it just bolt up to exising mountpoints? Is a different fluid reservoir needed? Is it going to cool in any effective way with a reservoir behind it, limiting airflow? Is it possible to pick and choose some pipes/mounts and fit a suitable aftermarket cooler? etc. etc.
But without making a start and at least getting some parts to play with, how will we know?

you could always move the washer reservoir to the trunk or something. Even if there aren't any pre tapped holes for the oil cooler bracket some sheet metal screws would hold it on.

If you track your car,i prefer you to make own oil cooling system.
This stock is lousy. Also EvoX´s system is not good enough for track abuse.
Im upgrading my system too. I will make v-style system with two new oil coolers,or put one new somewhere (maybe just front of oem) using same lines with OEM one. So i keep thermostat working with system.
