i would guess they're limiting torque on purpose in an effort to preserve the stock clutches

Not really sure on why the gap is so large between hp and tq.. But maybe as Nunya suggested to preserve the clutches..

Also aaron from english said that he as yet to break into the RA tranny to set torque limits and what not.. He said he can with the MR but not the RA yet.. But I thought someone on here has already begun to crack the tranny codes??? Let me know what you guys know about this..

Other than a REALLY long and stressfull weekend, could have been better prepaird but its all put together and running ABSOLUTELY great and punches like a rocket!

Wow Hotshot did a great job if he's pulling 440, thats impressive.. I'm guessing he got the engine built from MAP?

For now I'm just cruise and enjoy what I have for now.. IT is definitely an addicting hobby and like English warned me that it won't be long before I'm wanting something bigger and better

Cheers

Dyno looks great!

Aaron is great to deal with at English Racing. Bryan and Rich, to name a few, recently made some new SST tuning public to the community so it's only a matter of time until tuners get a better understanding of pushing the SST further. Of course, there's still the actual TCU that needs cracking.

Don't think anyone's done it aside from the stand-alone unit Dodson has. Last I checked, Bryan sent a TCU to Tactrix a few months back and waiting on updates.

grimspeed ftw. u dont need clutches u should be fine just find a tuner that can play with the tranny tables. and 350 should be able on stock turbo with e85. i'm still up in the air on the stock frame turbos on these cars. it seems over kill. but..... do what makes u happy. anything bigger than a fp green/ bbx lite i would say dont do it
