Tablet for Evo Scan?

Tablet for Evo Scan?
For the people running Bryan's GST Basemap that also moniter their RA through Evo Scan, what do you guys use to view your A/F, boost, etc?
I've been thinking about a tablet setup? It should be compatable, and they are dirt cheap now.
The GPS style moniter on Evo Scan's website looks slick but it's pricey!
Anyways, post pictures of your laptop/netbook/GPS/Tablet setup!

Well, the catch is EvoScan currently only runs on Windows. So, that drastically narrows down your options for tablets. It also doubles the price of the tablets that you'll be looking at. Where you can find hundreds of Android tablets around $100-$150, the windows based tablets seem to start out around $300.
That said, when I bought mine last year, I went w/ a Viliv X70ex UMPC ("Ultra Mobile PC"). I went w/ this device because it came w/ the car mounting kit, is relatively light weight, runs WinXP, has a 7" touch screen, and has a whole host of other features that are sure to come in handy. It did set me back roughly $500 though.

Very cool, I think I might do this. What I REALLY want to do is get the dashdaq and make my tablet work in sync with the dashdaq. All I have is an Ipad right now and it seems to be impossible to get it to work that way right now. Since evoscan is not out for ipad yet I do believe my best bet would be to get a windows tablet and just use that for my gauges. Do you ever worry about somebody jacking your tablet from your car or do you remove it every time you get out?

i want this! But i want it mounted in the dash and able to run the audio system as well. I want to be able to switch 'modes' from audio to gauges via the steering wheel controls (and keep listening to music).
And i want a cup of coffee, too.
