Shift hesitation and an embarrassingly simple questions

Over the past week or so I've been noticing a hesitation when the transmission downshifts in the car, particularly when I get heavy on the throttle. Usually the gears drop fairly quickly and smoothly but now the SST hesitates and when it does choose to drop it is not smooth. The car is an 09 and is completely stock. Could it just be time for the 30,000 mile checkup at the stealership? Also, for the embarrassingly simple question: could any garage do the checkup? I know the SST is tricky to work with and I don't want to void the warranty or anything like that. I'll post a list of what the recommended things to be done at 30,000 below (sorry for the weird characters included)

Code:
Mileage or Time-Whichever occurs first
q 30,000 Miles (48,000 km) or at 30 months
␣Check fuel system for leaks *1 (tank, pipe line and connection, and fuel tank filler tube cap).
*1 This maintenance is recommended but is not required to maintain the emissions warranty.
␣Check fuel hoses condition. *1
␣Replace air cleaner filter.
␣ Replace drive belts (for the generator, water pump,
power steering pump).
␣Check and service exhaust system *1 (connection portion of muffler, muffler pipes and converter heat shields).
␣Change engine oil. ␣Replace engine oil filter. ␣Change manual transaxle oil. ␣Check twin clutch sportronic shift transmission oil for
evidence of leaks (if necessary, check the oil level). ␣Change transfer oil. ␣Check reserve tank fluid level
(for active center differential).
␣Change engine coolant.
␣Inspect coolant hoses condition
(radiator hose, heater hose).
␣ Inspect disc brake pads and rotors for wear.
Regular maintenance schedule
␣ Check brake hoses for deterioration or leaks.
␣Inspect ball joint and steering linkage seals for grease
leaks and damage.
␣ Inspect suspension system for looseness and damage.
␣ Inspect drive shaft boots for grease leaks and damage.
␣Change rear axle oil (differential part and torque transfer part).
␣ Change rear axle oil, with Limited Slip Diff.
␣ Rotate tires.
␣ Replace air purifier filter.

the SST without a doubt behaves sloppily when maintenance is required. More than just a couple of people have mentioned that the car drives completely differently after the SST fluids and filter has been changed, and at least 1 person I can think of thought their SST was "dying" until they changed their fluid and filter.

The dealership doesn't have to do it. However, I don't think your local quick lube shops will be able to handle this job either. Reputable tuner shops familiar with the EvoX MR and the Ralliart should be able to handle the job.

The "tricky" part with the fluid change on the SST is the fluid itself. It's not a fluid that your local garage will carry.

While this is true, members have had their warranties void because they had their fluids changed not by the dealer. The dealer argued that the member couldn't prove he had OEM fluid in there and that it was done properly.

Unless you go to your local VW/Audi dealership

with any basic mechanic skill the fluid change is about a 2/10 in difficulty.... the hardest part is getting all the oil into a pan and refilling the proper amount. cost of mine all oem was around 300 dollars. so imagine how much the dealer will charge.... and also if ur stock and are concerned about warranty... as i preach on other posts. bite the cost u knew it was coming when u bought the car. and do it by the book
