CBRD RAD Lite + Walboro 255 LPH Reviews?

My next plan is to upgrade my turbo + fuel pump + re-tune.

Has anyone added this combo to their setup? I would really like to get some feedback if so (as per Mitch from AMS, I probably won't have to upgrade the injectors. Worst case, I'll max them out and live with it).

i'm looking at going the same route as my RAD lite is sitting in my basement waiting for me to pull the trigger and install it/book dyno time

i can't recall what Chad said about the need for fuel upgrades for the RAD but he reccomended dropping to the evo X range plugs

also i think the blaqops walbro kit is the goto kit for our cars.. so i hear

Thanks for the advice! If you are looking to sell your RAD lite and never put it on, let me know (if it's before May).

I'll look into BlaqOps. Ultimate Racing is here in Canada so I wouldn't to pay any duty or anything.

fuel system shouldn't need to be upgraded. We have the same fuel system as EvoX's and the RAD doesn't deliver much more than the stock EvoX turbo.

switching to e85 will require fuel system upgrades though

why go for this instead of just buying an X turbo and doing the swap?

not a ton of money needed... you can get a turbo + manifold for pretty cheap on here. then buy that new map kit and an inlet/outlet. it might be a few more dollars but you still have room to gain. with this youre already almost maxed out.

I also already have the long down pipe from UR which is the Ralliart specific one. So along with everything else I'd need to change for the X swap, I'd have to buy a new $350 long down pipe.

Dollar for dollar and simplicities sake, the CBRD RAD Lite is the best way to go IMO. Plus it looks stock to boot!

Hmmm so no fuel pump required, that's great news!! I may be able to do it sooner than later.

I'm having trouble finding someone's used Ralliart turbo though. Have to keep looking.

Why do people always come into these threads and start saying the whole why not the X turbo thing. OP wanted reviews on the Rad said nothing about should I go with the X or Rad turbo. I know personally Im not planning on increasing hp over that of what the stock X or Rad can deliever so the Rad is a great option for those people that are content with those power gains and the OP might be like myself. So in that case the Rad is a great fit instead of the X.

Thanks man! Exactly my thoughts. I've already done my DD and based on the setup I've invested in, it would be much more costly to do an X swap. I really like the idea of the RAD Lite too. Stock housing, fitment, etc..

Now, to all those that do have it on....did your bolts snap when you were taking off the turbo? If I'm not mistaken, I need to buy the replacement bolts as well.

Looks like I found a mint Ralliart turbo locally here in Montreal for $200.

you dont need to find a turbo, you pay double the price of the RAD and then after you install the rad you send in your turbo and you recieve 895 back. Works on a trade system
