Here's what mine looks like. Do you guys think the small hose attached to my BOV is kinked too much?

Can anybody tell me if your blow off valve blows the same when u change gear on ur sst as it does when u change gear on the manual transmission. i want to buy a hks for mine but i want to know if i'll get the same whossh sound when i change gear on the manual transmission.

dont be that guy that goes for the sound. please i beg of it. the local community makes fun of those kinds of people.

Only if you lift off the throttle while shifting. Otherwise, no. Plus, the SST usually does not get along well with the HKS SSQV, so I'd avoid going with that particular valve.

Nothing wrong with liking the way it sounds man...its functional so there is no problem with it...most people that like turbo cars like the sounds of the turbo and or bov

It's actually LESS functional to vta on our car with SST transmission

Unless you have an open-element air intake and let off the throttle while under boost, then you can hear the noise. No need to change your valve for that, though.

A recerc BOV does make a Wshhhhh noise but its in the intake so its very quite. If you have a Intake you can hear it better.

I was that guy that went for the sound. I bought Agency Power silver BOV. I used it 50/50. I sounded awesome the only problem was for some reason my SST was not shifting properly (big problem) in automatic. Sold it on ebay. SST is back to normal. Some people told me that AP BOV does not have anything to do with SST, but I know what I experianced.

What you experienced is actually VERY common when using certain BOV's with the SST, especially ones that vent (either partially or wholly) to atmosphere.
