RA cams are smaller than X??

Is this for real, everything I've ever heard says the longblocks are identical between RA and X

Also, the reason I bring this up, is it can/would have a material impact on how we should mod our cars.
For example, on an X with a stock turbo, the stock cams are very well suited. Upgrading to an moderate MX1 or S1 has shown a gain of 20-30 whp on the top end. Since it costs upwards of a grand to buy/install, they are not considered cost effective.
Additionally, I have been racking my brain try to figure out why it is I can't get the top of my car to breathe. I can make as much if not more than most MR tune I see (same fuel, boost, etc) until 5500 the whp stops rising, whereas on an MR it will keep rising until 6500. Based on what has been done on MR's, and our knowledge of the long blocks being identical, I had decided cams might not be worth while.
BUT, if we do have smaller cams than an MR, now the gains become more like 50-60whp and the cost begins to be justified???

On mitsupart catalog they are listed differently but cost the same. And if we make the same power as the x with the swap I don't get it?

Wow, so I'm looking at the Catalog, apparently CA has different cams for the RA? WTF...?

EDIT: I can't read w/o Ralliart
So then 2 set of cams for Lancer w/o Ralliart (CA and everywhere else) but only 1 set for all others (RA and MR/GSR)?

I did the online parts lookups, but, as mentioned, the cams for the RA and Evo are listed separately, and have identical prices. Unfortunately, I was unable to extract an actual Part # from any of the sites I found. So, the separate listings essentially mean diddly.

I just found a listing of part #s that I can track down ...

I don't know if I would consider this "definitive proof" but I did find some part numbers here:

The RA part numbers seem dubious since none of the sites want to pull up which car it's for in the part info like they do for the EvoX cams.

The cams are identical. I had this argument on the other site and looked both cars up on the Mitsu CAPS database. Part numbers were identical as of that posting, so I'm not sure why nunyas' numbers are showing differently now

nah... it was because the part numbers on the other site were mis-written/mis-understood when they were gathered from their sources. the exact original numbers didn't pull anything some manipulation of the numbers to make them resemble actual Mitsu part numbers ended up pulling information, but the information was not vehicle specific in the descriptions. So, it's highly likely to be unreliable.
