Question SST shifts?

Ok so I'm not sure if anyone has ever had this happen to them but here's my story. Ok I drive around town when I'm boared and I've noticed when I'm decelerating I shift down and the RPM's raise. Well at times when I'm declerating my RPM's stay low like I'm still in the same gear. I know this sounds confusing but I want to know if this is normal or should I be worried and take it to the dealer?

Oh and idk if this makes a difference but I have 25,xxx miles.

1) are u performing a single gear downshifts? which gears do u typicaly see this happen (high vs low rpm). odd to odd, odd to even...etc?
2) do u apply the brake with the same pressure (approx) in both cases?
3) closed throttle I assume in both cases?

Sometimes it rev matches and sometimes it just lets the rev's drop as you decelerate and downshift because the computer decided to disengage the clutch.

Ok so I was driving around today and I noticed that when I'm slowing down and the car shifts down on its own then I shift down that's when it happens. Can anyone else try this out an see if it happens to them?

Sound like normal ops, at low rpm/speed, the clutches disengage and you end up coasting. If you keep the revs high and intentionally engine brake, they'll stay engaged... It's pretty similar to the way you'd work a manny tranny really...

That is correct, it will eventualy open up to avoid killing the engine.

Sounds like normal mode.
When coast and hit the brake to stop at a light, there will be maybe 1 downshift that you feel.
When I completely stop, it just skips to 1st gear with no downshift. Kinda of like coasting in neutral.

Put it in sport and it won't do it.
