With the GST Base Map, it's worth differentiating between the 91oct vs. 93oct, and between the "stock exhaust" and "full TBE" versions.

From memory, the 91oct "stock exhaust" version has boost targets around 21.5psi. Its fuel map is safely on the rich side.

Contrast this against 93oct "full TBE", which targets around 23psi and less richie rich fuelling. It's got a hair more timing advance, too.

So it very much depends on your fuel, your exhaust, etc.

With the more aggressive "TBE" tune, I wouldn't go thrashing the car trackside with the pint-sized factory intercooler still in place. That's me, anyway. A second-hand Evo X FMIC is cheap as chips, piping and all.

A wideband is a must-have too, IMO. Just sayin'.

Cheers,

Rich

Very good information thank you! Do you know if there is any TBE V30 maps coming out? Ive ran the 2.7 and now upgraded to V30 and absolutely love how it shifts!
