Custom Build with a '11 RA turo setup HELP!!

Custom Build with a '11 RA turo setup HELP!!
In short...I purchased a completely un-used 2001 RA turbo with stock manifold, turbo, FMIC, downpipe w/o2 housing which lucky will be easily modified to fit my 2.5' exhaust.
Here is where my confusion comes:
From stock manifold to turbo bolts up. It has been used only on test drives so I can see and find where slight carbon build up has come from test drives.
My understanding manifold bolt to turbo. Spools turbine obviously and going straint into elbow to down pipe? (IS THIS CORRECT?!)
The question is And maybe its because I couldnt sleep because this is driving me mad but where the heck does this go in to the intercooler?????
Im sure once I get some sleep it will come to me (as I was sure I had this figured out. I am not used to these types of turbos since im a bit old school and more fimiliar with turbo setups of small block 350s.
I cannot find any reference pictures, threads, anything to give me a idea. Iv heard of reverse scroll but know little about them.
Sorry for the ignorance but I do not get what the ^^^^ I am missing here.
Any info apprecited. Note this is not going on a RA and use of the turbo is perfect for my applicationsince I can get a quick spool time and keep boost realitivly low with ecuflash and a MBC.
Any help would be appreciated.

That would be useful if that were the type of turbo I was using. RA turbo is very different and aside I understand how a turbo works. Build is undergoing custom manifold build, custom down pipe, 24x6x3'' intercooler setup. Forward facing manifold, internal WG w/ WGA, honda racing radiator, slimfan between intercooler and radiator, 304 mandrel bend, ARP head studs, and tuning for the rest of my life with the help of the community.
I haven't seen a OZ rally build with a RA turbo (2011 w/700 miles) but with great thanks to a new vendor (not announced). Build thread coming VERY soon.
