I haven't noticed anyone who's wanted to tune a rally inspired type vehicle for rally sport. Has anyone done this yet? Also what have you done?


Just see tons of people adding **** tons of hp and tq most likely for drag racing. But also I see people who spend tons of money on ****ty drop in parts from online. Like ultimate racing. I bought their intercooler piping. It's no better than buying the parts at autozone and welding them yourself!!! Please people get custom work done. It's cheaper in most cases for better stuff.

 

I don't think the Ralliart is particularly rally inspired and unless your spending $$$ tuning the ACD by yourself isn't (easy to do/doable) for this model.

Not everyone has the equipment to build their own parts or have the time. I doubt having a SS custom fabricated pipe made is any cheaper than buying a $200 SS intercooler pipe kit. Don't forget tig welders aren't cheap and while you can weld SS with a wire fed welder the results won't be the same. Not to mention having to a buy an argon bottle and SS wire that will bind up inthe whip without a spooler.

Also usually pipes at (parts store) aren't mandrel bent and are of thin wall mild steel.
