What kind of boost pill is this on my new used Ralliart?
I finally got around to taking apart the line with the boost pill in it to see if it was stock or not since I have no clue what the prior owner did with this car and I found this, I dont think its stock and I dont think the car is tuned from what I saw when I looked at the PCM.

Yes it was, I looked at the how to on here to make sure I pulled the right line. So would this be a GST boost pill I presume? And I dont think I have a tune on this car so its probably not good running around on this pill. Based on the mods in my sig, is there a base tune I should load until I can get on the dyno?

I dunno...
That doesn't look like the GST Boost Pill to me. The GST Boost Pill is brass. Attached are pics I took with my cell comparing the two pills. The GST on the left, stock on the right.
I would x-post this question on this thread:

There's a guy name "razorlab" who frequents that thread, who will be able identify if what you have is a variation of the GST Boost Pill since he used to work at GST. You definitely want to get this pill identified before you install any basemaps on your ECU. You definitely don't want to run the risk over boosting!

Having an aftermarket pill most likely mean its tuned, otherwise u would've heard a kaboom sound from the engine. If ur gonna get gst basemap installed just order a pill from AMS or UR and forget about this pill u have now

It sort of doesn't matter what pill it is does it? Just flash the relevent GST basemap, retune your BWGDC and lower the values until you hit 23psi safely.

Just to clarify I've used the UR pill and the RRE pill, and yes there was a difference in boost between the two. The UR one was about 1-2mm longer with something like a .7mm hole.
So you will have to tune your boost anyway whatever you put in there.

I loaded the gst base map last night and car is running great, got a few single counts of knock and one double count but otherwise ok, also check engine light is on now but im hoping its just from flashing it and will go away soon.
