P0ba0 dtc

Hello!

I got a DTC code yesterday on my 2009 Lancer Ralliart, I read it and found it was P0BA0. Cleared it, and it came back 24h later, going to have that look into monday, but anyone got a idea of what it ca be? The description is below

P0BA0 - Generic
Type Powertrain - Hybrid Propulsion - ISO/SAE Controlled
Description Hybrid Battery Voltage Sense "U" Circuit Range/Performance

What are you using to read the code? I'm thinking it's just a misinterpretation by whatever software you're using as that code should not apply.

Time to start merging all of these strange code threads for reference...

Yeah, it sounds like EvoScan 2.9 again.

If you're using 2.9, try finding and installing EvoScan 2.8 for DTC reading.

If you're using Base Maps v30 or v31, it's likely to "realy" be P050B, "Cold Start Ignition Timing Performance Pointless Time-Wasting Annoying DTC". lol. I'm still working on that one.

If you've updated your XML from goldenevo.com, that's where it came from. That was me.

I created a P050B patch because some GST Base Map owners reported this code when starting in cold weather. As far as I know, it's related to higher LBTM values.

One guy has reported this code STILL coming up, and that's with the disable. So I'm still a bit perplexed. It may be that my "P050B Disable" doesn't actually work. If that's the case, I'll just bin it from Golden's def site and move on to tweaking LBTM to resolve it.

Owner "The Newb" apparently had this code still pop up, even with my patch. Either it's a mix-up' or my disable does not work.
