DTC relating to tyres

Ok so ive been getting this server required message on my RA with the drive train symbol. Now it makes no effect on the driving but its just annoying
I took it to mits and they say its possibly due to the tyres and noted my battery voltage was low and advised to replace it. Which i did and the code came back.
Now i cant understand how the tyres could be the cause as they are the same height and only wider. Iam running Nitto invo 245/40/18 tyres.

Iam about to do a road test and try and catch this code as it goes away when you turn the car off

Try evoscan 2.9, 2.8 misses the codes sometime.

Do the Tarmac/Gravel/Snow options disappear when you get it? Does it comes on after driving a relatively short distance?

Sounds like you have an ACD pump related error message. My pump is bad and I get the same message after driving a short distance. Goes away when the car is restarted, and comes back every time. I see you're in Australia...not sure what would cause your pump to go bad down there though.

I've only seen it when I had to use the spare tyre - different size to the other 3.

they are all 40 high
245/40/18 on the front and 235/40/18 on rear i would not think width would effect the awd system

You have different sized tyres - they all need to be the same. 40 is a ratio of the tyre width. 40% of 245 is 98 and 40% if 235 is 94. Not much of a height difference, but enough to trigger the alarm and it will damage the AWD over time.

Whelp, given the new information, ignore my previous comment, . That's not it!

I'm going to have to agree with bob. You have two different overall diameter tires going on, and as minimal as it is; it's probably throwing the AWD system for a loop.
