Nice custom exhaust. It looks Great!!
I'm personally gunna go with UR Catback w/ mini muffler and resonator added to the midpipe. Add-ons cut a lot of the drone out, but still one of the louder exhaust out there.

Do you have names of the 'quiter ones' you speak of? I have a 45 minute commute, i just don't want something that drones at 65-80mph (~2500-3200rpm)....or drones at any speed. Not looking for high HP numbers, just loud at full throttle & better flow.
I am looking for dual pipe also.

If you looking at the least expensive dual pipe options, the Magnaflow & Turbo XS systems can be found around $500 if you search the exhaust threads.

They're also some of the more quieter ones. It has also been known the DC Sports option has fitment issues so you might want to read up on it and watch the you tube sound clips.

Just installed a TurboXS Downpipe, High flow Cat, and cat back exhaust. Sounds insane. No drone and has deep grumble when down shifting. It was so loud inside the car it gave my girlfriend a headach !!! Did not bother me though. WIll post pics soon. Worth every penny it is truly amazing

It sounds like the Magnaflow would probably fit what you're looking for from what I've heard about it. Although I did hear one or two people mention drone, but most seem to say there is no drone. I guess everyone has different definitions of "drone" and "loud".

I'm in a similar boat as you. This car is my DD, and my commute is ~45 minutes on average, mostly highway. I don't want drone or to get pulled over constantly. However, on the other hand, I hear these quieter exhausts aren't that much louder than stock, and if I'm spending all this money on what is essentially a noise-maker, I might as well get my money's worth. Plus I want the deepest sound possible, so I've decided to go with the Borla. It has the tone I'm looking for, and there seems to be varying opinions on drone and just how loud it is. I guess I'll find out for myself. If it's way too loud or droney, it can be modified.

It would be a big help if you posted a video at highway speeds and with some down shifts and full throttle, all inside the car. I think everyone here & especially me, would appreciate it. Good Luck and post some pics of the install and some running video!

I almost got the Magnaflow because of the price and low droning but reading other car forums it seems Magnaflow does not use 304 stainless steel on the pipe sections (only the muffler and tips) which end up rusting pretty fast. So now its Between the Turbo XS or a custom setup like Truthmhz (depending on the price).

I have the magnaflow with a test pipe. It sounds beast when WOT and depending on highway speed it does give what seems like a slight drone. But my wife and others that have been in the car with me havent complained. Maybe im just noticing the little things. If anything, all the rattles when i let off throttle bug them more. But as soon as i get back on throttle, the rattle stops. Time to strip the car and rattle proof it. Its starting to really bug me.
