No power gains to be found. The only gain is the ability to shed off heat and maintain cooler charged air temps. Which means less heat soak, which prevents you from losing power. Somebody correct me if im wrong.....

Nothing worth noting. It's a very worthwhile and important upgrade though. The stock Ralliart intercooler is really puny.

I actually have an X intercooler for sale. Let me know if you want it .

Calling it puny is an understatement!

Living somewhere where it is hot, I would say the IC upgrade is almost a necessity

The gains are in the ic pipes. The lower one giving you the most and upper giving a few more HP. They usually are installed together since they are so cheap and you need to remove the bumper. I found my EVO X IC and pipes for $100. Then again you can just get just get upgrade IC pipes for $100.

I'm sorry... What?

The LICP is one of the last things you need to worry about.

The UICP is just a mesh pipe, so it expands under boost. A hard UICP is one of the most absolute first mods.

The intercooler, along with the UICP, won't net you much power. A tune with them will definitely give you a little more, but nothing huge.

Idk who told you the LICP does the most, but they and you are very very wrong. I know guys running stock LICPs on over 400 hp.

OP, definitely get an intercooler and UICP. You might feel a difference but nothing huge. If you want to, you can get a LICP too since you'll have the front bumper off for the intercooler anyway.

I guess it won't be the most gains. Yes, EVO X gain a lot from the upper pipe and since the Ralliart has the same mesh pipe, it should have gains.
However, those two dents on a stock RA IC pipe doesn't look like it flows as nice.
And you want it to flow freely if you want to make more power. Plus, the RA turbo is smaller than an EVO X one.

I believe past evos the hotpipe is the licp thus replacing that will reap gains. Evo x and RA, the hotpipe is the uicp thus changing that will reap u gains. How much gain? I don't think u get any gain in hp, more retaining hp? Changing pipes and ic will allow for efficiency and not losing power rather gaining. Even if there is gain, u won't even notice it. One thing u might notice is lag instead
