P0304 help

was driving around and got the ses light. Got the code checked out and it was p0304 cylinder 4 misfire. After a day of driving around the light went away by itself. I checked all the plugs and they all look the same. I did order new oem ones anyway. I changed coil pack 3 and 4 around and still never got the ses light back. Car is tuned with ef2 turbo fic900 injectors deathswerks 65c fuel pump. Any other reason why I got that ses and it went away.

Put in your new plugs and swap injectors between cylinder 3 and 4. You are running EvoX spec plugs, not RA, right?

I meant EvoX spark plugs, not injectors, sorry for the confusion.

well the plugs im getting will be evo x specific. I will gap them to .21-.23 hopefully that will solve my issue. if not im gonna check the injectors and get a comperession test done to be safe

Looks tolerable. What about your plugs?

Have you checked for boost leaks? How's it idling with the code? You may also want to try soldering the clips like Darksun did. It eliminated this issue with FIC1100. I have this issue as well.

the spark plugs are brand new...and i have not checked for boost leaks .. I hit full boost when i drive it or get on it. Idiling is a little weird sometimes randomly. It sounds like theres small little pops i hear out of the exhaust other than that im usually at idle at 900-1000 steadily. What clips are we talking about leviathon???

I know the plugs are new, I was just wondering if you had received them yet because they were previously "ordered" as far as I knew. Boost leak is HIGHLY unlikely to cause single-cylinder misfire. Have you tried swapping injectors between cylinders yet? You said you were going to, but then never followed up.

^the 'pops' support a bad injector IMHO.

You swapped coils and the problem did not move.

You have access to a digital oscilloscope? they can help isolating electrical issues. I can provide good waveforms

hey guys sorry for the late reply. I got so caught up with personal things i forgot to post.
So i been emailing my tuner back and fourth. the ses light only comes on during a start up. Never has the light came on during wot pulls. So my tuner just told me its just could be a minor idle issue. Everything seems fine when i get on the car n beat it. Light comes and goes away randomly. Im sure if i had a faulty injector my ses light would be coming on during driving and not only when i start the car back up
