I've been on a 20-50 synthetic, and the issue still came up. This is with BC springs, GSC S2s, and "normal" clearances from ERL (no +1s).
Then again, I forgot a stupid little oil filter in the block I think, so I'm thinking the passage got clogged...
I really like your idea of a feed line directly to the head... that could be the end-all solution for a lot of people. I mean if the head is already out...

Precisely. I'm going to take the springs out too which will allow everything to work with a lower oil pressure to begin with + that feed line adding another good shot of psi straight from the bottom end.
The feed line idea credit has to go to my builder here in Montreal Serge Turcotte @ Turcotte Racing.

Keep dreaming buddy! Built SST and probably more power ultimately (your turbo specs are roughly them same). Plus I have cams, forged internals, built head, blah blah.

Then again...if it doesn't idle, I lose no latter what haha.
"Hey guys, I'm running low 11s but I can't park the car" definitely failsauce

Or sitting at the light in neutral trying to tap the gas and keeping from stalling in traffic...with a test pipe as the wind blowing back towards the front haha.
Very excited to see that turbo NFS.
FYI the BBK front installed without a single issue. I actually installed the brakes, did an oil change and a road test in 1.5 hours.

Thanks! Can't wait to get the break-in and this stupid oil pressure issue rectified. The car is already making obnoxious power at like 20% throttle shifting at 4500rpm (soft driving for break-in).
I know how my car felt at 340whp and I'm pretty sure I'm already well over that around 3500rpm at 20% throttle haha
