Nissei LICP

So I picked up a Nissei UICP and LICP during the going back to japan sale. I installed them after I got out of work, and boy was that fun... The UICP fit pretty well.

The lower took an hour by itself. Fitment was pretty bad on a Ralliart, I suppose it's a lot better on a GSR. Ended up having to cut the pipe and use a 2.5" 45* coupler and a 2.75 to 2.5" 45* reducer with the cut section clamped between to get the LICP to mate with the Throttle body.

The pipe is perilously close to a plug on the SST maybe 2-3mm of clearance.

Also had to move the transmission oil cooler up an inch since it was hitting the pipe. Will need to find a new hose from the LICP to the Recirc Valve. Ended up using the stock hose in the mean time.

All in all good times to be had. Can't really complain too much since the pipes were 55 each.

Damn, sorry to hear. I really like my nisei uicp, and have been wondering how hard it would be to make their licp work. Bummer.

It says 'GSR Only' and now i know why... [shrug]

it's definitely workable. The $55 version from the sale is steel, not aluminum. So I plan on buying some tubing and welding it to the nissei licp so it's a straight shot to the throttle body.

Ohhh... eff that, then. The whole reason I was wanting the LICP was to match my aluminum UICP.
