Best BOV's?

I have 2010 Ralliart. It's completely stock.. I want to start upgrading it. I'd like to have a louder bov above stock and the evo.. I just love the sound

Will it have to be tuned or anything? Or are their some that don't require a tune?

Thank you

^^^That one didnt work out so well for my car. I ended up switching back to the Evo X bpv. These cars need to run recirculated so being louder isnt going to happen. If you run an intake you will be able to hear the intake better with an aftermarket bpv, but an intake requires a tune. The only other bpv Ive heard that runs really well besides the Evo X one is the Synapse one.

A lot of Evo MR's and RA's seem to like the GFB T9033.
You can recirculate 90-95% and vta the other 5-10% for sound.

I use the GFB adjustable BOV and VTA ~20-30% with no issues. Not too loud, but definitely loud enough for me. I tried it at 50% VTA and I felt that it was a little too loud and attracted more attention than I wanted.

First, the main purpose of a BPV for our cars is to release pressure from the intake tract. The sound is just a byproduct of the BPV/BOV. If you must get a BOV, make sure it can recurculate air back. The ones that release all of it out aren't suited for our cars. It throws the air flow meter off and can cause issues. I suggest picking up an OEM evo x BPV. Super cheap and gets the job done. However, turbosmart offers one for the ralliart which will make the cool vent noises that a bov makes.

I purchased both the evo x crushed and the gfb respons. I like the gfb vented at 10-20% but noticed my mileage dropped and at times when it would boost, and I'd let off the throttle, there was like a surge or something. So I'm back with the evo x and am probably selling the gfb

Same as stock. Here's the product description...

"The Evo comes equipped with a factory blow off valve to protect the compressor on the turbo, when you "accel-off".
On the Evo 7 and 8, the factory blow off valve is made out of plastic, which can expand and result to leaking even under normal driving. Plastic blow off valve can also wear out over time resulting in leaks. The Evo 9 blow off valve is made out of steel, however the spring is inadequate to hold higher boost levels. The solution to solving these issues without having to modify anything under the hood is the TOMEI BOV. Made to replace the OEM bov with exact same fitment! With everything designed same as the OEM bov, the Tomei Bov is able to hold higher boost levels without any modification."

I use a Synapse DV on full recirculation. Hear it every time I lift off the gas pedal due to open element intake.
