I use the Evo X's plugs which are one step colder and work fine. Not sure what everyone else uses but NGK works pretty good from my experience.

If you are stock boost - stay to the heat range specified. Once boost is increased - use the EVO X heat range.

Stock OEM NGK plugs is what should be used. I tried 2 other plugs just to see if there was a difference and had a bunch of firing issues and it changed my fuel trims when logs were taken. Put OEM plugs back in and works flawless.

The heat range is 7 for the ralliart and 8 for the evo x.

(NGK ILKR8E6) - evo part no.
(NGK ILKR7E6) - ralliart part no.
