Question on GST flash

Question on GST flash
This might be a stupid question, sorry I am a noob. Anyways, I did take my RA in for the recall, where they flashed the ECU. If I now want to flash with GST, is there an extra step that needs to be done? I remember reading somewhere that cars that had been taken in for the recall were having issue with the GST basemaps? Help?
