Hey guys, not sure if this should be in 04-06 section, or this one, please move if necessary.

I am looking into building a 4G69 2.4L MIVEC motor to drop into my 06 ES, which would also require swapping the transmission as well (which isn't a big deal since it does have 175xxx on it) and upon research I have found that the Twin-Clutch SST Transmission found in the 4B11 vehicles is much more performance oriented. I would LOVE to be able to drop that transmission (or any twin-clutch SST transmission for that matter) in with the modded 4G69 if at all possible. Does anybody have information about this? What would it take to make this combo work?

You'd be far better off with a manual trans. The TC-SST isn't bad but building to handle any kind of real power is an expensive proposition. But to answer your question with the right shop and enough money anything is possible. I just dont feel it would be worth it.
