Transmission Required 58k
So I'm very aware of this tranny flush BS these SST have and I'm not very happy with it because apparently when you need one the car goes in retard mode and doesn't wanna move and keeps hopping out of gear. Luckily i was 1400 miles under my warranty so it got towed to the dealer. My point here is that, should i keep it and see how the tranny hold up after the 60k warranty is up or trade it because of this stupid issue? i Definitely would not of bought this car if i knew every 30k this car would need 520$ dumped into it and plus its on its second tranny. Unreal this SST is not Sounding very unreliable. Im sorry for B**hing but this is crazy.

You bought a performance car. Performance cars do need "money dumped into them", sometimes on an even more regular basis (just ask anyone with a rotary engine). The SST has some common issues (like pretty much anything else), but if you maintain it properly, it will run properly in most cases.
Also, I have no idea what you said in that first sentence.

Sorry to join everyone else, but $520 every 30,000 isn't that bad.
Let's do the math...
On average we put 12,000 miles on our cars each year, let's just round that down to 10,000 seeing how most of us own secondary vehicles.
So the SST fluid and filter will need to be changed every 3 years.
$520/3 Years = $173.33 a year
$173.33/365 Days in a Year = .47 Cents a day
Simply fill a jar with 50 cents a day and you'll have more than enough to have the fluid and filter changed.
Or...
If you get 200 miles out of every tank of gas, set aside $3.50 whenever you fill up and you'll have more than enough.

I am new to the sst. But my last car the clutch was $1800. New pads and rotors were 1600. But everything else was cheap. BTW it was a 2007 GT500. But every performance car has its expensive parts/service. Buy a civic if you don't want to worry about putting money into it to service it.

In the following link on their website here: http://www.jackstransmissions.com/co...st-trans-fluid
On the link they talk about the owner of the company searching for his own replacement of the Diaqueen fluid, but never found a true replacement as all other fluids(Castrol, Ebay fluids, and Pentosin) did not allow the tranissmission "to operate as it should".

Either my dealership made a mistake, or Mitsubishi has dropped the price.
My dealership was kind enough to accept a $75 off coupon I got on my Mitsubishi Owners page.
I paid $306 yesterday to have my fluid and filter changed.
