What's wrong?

Hey guys, I don't post here often because my wife drives the Ralliart and not me. She was heading to work today and the car went into limp mode. The "service Awd" and "key fob not detected" lights came on. The key fob battery is brand new and the key was in the cup holder. The car refused to start. Also the rear hatch wouldnt open (sport back). What do you guys think is going on? I'm going to extend the warranty to cover the electrics now too. Any ideas? Also what's it going to cost? (Bites nails nervously).

TIA

It looks like two different problems.
1. Service AWD - that should be some kind of code or just the ACD pump error CEL.
2. The Key Fob can get interference. I get it when I have my phone with it. The car won't start if it doesn't see the key fob.

The trunk, i'm not sure as I do not have a power trunk, its manual.

When it went into limp mode did the rev gauge bounce up and down? She might of just overboosted if she was trying to pass a car or get onto the hwy?

Also check the ground wires are making good contact to the chassis under the battery tray. I have seen some post where people in area's prone to salting the roads in the winter months has corroded the metal in that area causing grounding issues.
