Whistling noise...no boost leak...ideas???!!
What does that whistling sound like to you guys? Coming from gauge or turbo? I feel like it wasn't there before but could be wrong lol....seems to happen after it spools up. The noise other than engine as soon as gauge hits 5 psi ...it didn't used to sound like that...sounds more whistle like...may have to listen real close...any ideas? It's a 2010 RA on 61k miles...did boost leak test, nothing...also swapped the bpv to see if that's bad, still no change...running out of ideas 😑

Boost gauge installed a while back, changed oil and oil filter, installed aftermarket strut tower bar. Was fine with gauge for a while so that's not it, also disabled gauge and that didn't make it go away either.

Are you sure there is not a boost leak? Check all of your lines to your gauge.
Is the noise in the cabin or in the engine bay? Can you reproduce the sound while the car is parked?

Thoroughly checked for leak myself and my dad did too as a second set of eyes just in case I missed something . Interrupted line to gauge sensor and no change . Checked gauge lines. Comes from bay far as I can tell and only reproduced when driving.

Lol I know that. Meant as in a second person went through and sprayed all the connections while we pressurized the system to make sure I didn't miss anything. Went thoroughly and sprayed soap water all over and no bubbles anywhere even on small connections for boost gauge.

Try swapping the BOV out with one that you know works.
Also, check your intake system - air box etc to make sure everything is sealed properly.
Could be a vacuum issue instead of a leak-out somewhere. You won't see bubbles if that is the case.
Can you mount a mic in the engine bay and record in different areas of the engine bay while you drive or take your car to a dyno and see if you can troubleshoot it on their dyno?
