Ultimate Racing catback install

spend the extra 10 minutes to unbolt the thing...dont bend it its just a shield.
Anyone else have some trouble with the midpipe section that connects to the catilac converter?
I did it, i had to crack open this weird aluminum wrap that went around it so i wouldnt have a leak, then once i had it nice and tight the part that wrapped around it wouldnt close so now it rattles lol

For the people who are getting the rattle @ the Cat / midpipe connection just cut off the metal that goes over this connection.
All i did was take a pair of metal cutters and boom. Rattleing sound was officially gone. Took 5 minutes. I took off about 2 inches off. Just enough for no rattle. That was about 1 month ago and have had no trouble since.

Has anyone done a UR turbo-back exhaust that can shed some light on installation? I'm just trying to get an idea about any extra steps for the o2 sensor or anything I should know before I start.

Any thoughts on the WORKS muffler? Does anyone have one?

If you want more power and torque I would go turbo back. If you are looking for something to provide slightly more hp with minimal noise I would go with the Ultimate Racing catback with the resonated midpipe and mini-muffler. It's not much louder than stock and gives you a slightly deeper tone. I've tried all the UR combinations on my RA with my personal experience below.
1. UR standard catback system (w/straight midpipe)- Extremely loud and resonates through out the whole interior.
2. UR catback w/resonated midpipe- Still pretty loud and resonates through out the whole interior but not quite as bad.
3. UR catback w/straight midpipe and mini-muffler (My setup I used)- Nice deep tone but not obnoxious. Minimal noise inside car.
4. UR catback w/resonated midpipe and mini-muffler- Slightly louder than stock w/ a deeper tone. Very minimal noise inside car.

I don't see what the WORKS muffler has to do with this thread lol....
Anyway.. Very good write-up here. I placed my order the other day for the UR dual exit catback with resonator and mini miffler and I'm stoked. Unfortunately, I'm not car smart lol so I will be taking it to a shop to have them install it.
I read in the 2nd post to get gaskets. I didn't get those Would a shop be able to provide gaskets?
