Ultimate Racing catback install
Hey guys,
Im ordering my UR catback from Ultimate-racing.com tomorrow for my RA, with no mini muff or resonator, and i know it is 100% bolt on. Just wondering what tools i will need to actually bolt this bad boy on, also if a simple hydraulic jack will raise the car high enough to do the install. I'd really rather do it myself than take it to some place.
All help and advice appreciated as always.

Taking off stock exhaust
- You will need a jack and jackstands. I used 4 jackstands to get all 4 wheels off the ground so I had some room to work.
- To remove the bolts at the back of the cat you either need a 17mm or 19mm (can't remember which) socket, rachet, and a 3" extension.
- For the bolts back in front of the muffler assembly you need a 15mm socket
- You may also want some WD40 to spray the rubber exhaust hangers to ease getting the stock exhaust off
Putting UR Exhaust on
- When you order the UR exhaust with the gaskets they supply bolts and nuts. I also went to the hardware store and got lock washers for the bolts.
- You will only need a 17mm wrench and socket to bolt the new exhaust on. You may also need a 19mm socket for the two bolts at the back of the cat but I can't remember if these were 17mm or 19mm. It is a very easy system to install. If you have any other questions just let me know.

CBE is a cat-back exhaust, replaces all of the pipes behind the catalytic converter to the tail pipes.

1. UR standard catback system (w/straight midpipe)- Extremely loud and resonates through out the whole interior.
2. UR catback w/resonated midpipe- Still pretty loud and resonates through out the whole interior but not quite as bad.
3. UR catback w/straight midpipe and mini-muffler (My setup I used)- Nice deep tone but not obnoxious. Minimal noise inside car.
4. UR catback w/resonated midpipe and mini-muffler- Slightly louder than stock w/ a deeper tone. Very minimal noise inside car.
