I used a plastic drywall mud spade. The edge got under the badges and because its plastic it didn't damage the paint!

I pointed a heat lamp on the emblem while I did a few things around the house, put a card under the points opposite where I was pulling from, lifted it off slowly with my hands then got rid of the goop with acetone (away from the heat lamp of course)

Better than the floss... craft twine. I know it sounds crazy and a little thick but the texture literally grabs the adhesive tape and pulls it right off.

No joke- I used ZERO heat and ZERO acetone/chemicals. It took 30seconds to "floss" the emblem off then used some polishing compound followed by a car-wash, then a wax. It couldn't have been easier or less complicated.

No damage to the paint, nothing dangerous.

It just is an adhesive holding it on, I removed mine and it was just glue.
