Question License Plate move (in front)

New to the forums. I've read some great stuff and appreciate everyone sharing their knowledge and ideas.

I've got my license plate dealer mounted in the center of the front bumper. I would "prefer" to have it moved to the side, EVO style. Are there kits that allow me to attach a plate mount without drilling? I hate the fact that they drilled holes in the bumper anyway (going to buy some caps to seal them off and make them "look better") and drilling more holes into the painted part of the bumper makes me cringe.

Any help is appreciated! Thank you!

OEM side mounted plate requires drilling the bumper face (3 holes, i believe)

If you want to have it on the side.. one idea is to drill the "bottom" of the bumper face (right on top of the Fog light) and attach an L-bracket...

In the end, drilling is a must .. just a matter of where..
Not sure how you can mount the license plate on the side, without any screws.. (super glue maybe? )

Good day

I used clear silicone, taped it in place with painters tape for a day so it wouldn't move while drying.

ive seen a member on here who had a license plate vinyl created. It looks exactly like a license plate but it was removable which was perfect for cops since it is visible and legit but removable at shows

mine was vinyl (i posted photos in another thread), and the police told me to remove it because I was committing fraud; I used silicone to place my real one over the vinyl one

Thanks everyone! I'll give the silicone a try when warmer weather hits. If all else fails, I guess i'll have to drill.

Disregard my post. The "smart phone" version of Evo-M didn't say what forum I was in. My fix probably only works for the Evo 7-9. Sorry.

Enough Velcro will hold anything. Best bet if you want to go this route is to get the 3M stuff, its like Velcro but plastic and is super strong. It kind of snaps when you push it together.I just cant think of the name of it right now.

no the backing is just 3M tape, a little heat and some patience and you shouldn't even know it was there.
