to the ra owners who drove on the stock yokos last winter:
in all seriousness, was it that scary? was it so out of control that you felt unsafe every time you pushed the accelerator? or was it manageable if you drove very sedately?
i wanna know because we don't get a lot of snow in boise, but we do get some. and i'd rather not spend $500 on a set of snow tires if it can be avoided.

I didn't feel unsafe every time I pushed the throttle in, but there was A LOT of wheel spin and sliding around on snowy roads. Corners were a little scary, and often I did slow down to about 10-15mph and crawl through them. Highways that are unsalted but get sanded...don't bother. I almost dropped some bricks on them.

was it scary.. oh yes.. i didnt want to hurt my baby that i only had for 2 weeks
was it out of control... no.. as long as ur not an idiot and no the limits of the current conditions there was no reason for panic the key was very little gas (except at stoplights.. just for a little fun haha)
but if u only get snow once in awhile is it worth 500 bucks... i say no.. but im sure u get more snow then i do

There's a huge snowstorm going on now, i'll try and post pictures by the end of the day. They're predicting between 40-50 cm of snow in 10 hours (for you americans, that between 15 to 19 inches).
