Wanted to start a thread for a very particular interest for all us RA owners. Just traded in my GTS and got my RA 4 days ago. my fiance was kind enough to take my RA in to get it tinted today for me while I was working. I got 28% all around. I'm OCD about my new car and here in Florida it's 28% on the front and 15% on the rest. So, 28% around gives a warranty on my Llumar and I can't get a ticket for it

Long story short, when I get home I"m going to snap a few pictures and post them. Just to give anyone not sure what percentage to get a visual reference. Much like the tint wall in a shop, just with pretty cars

So post shots of your cars with tint percentages.

New Jersey you cant have anything on the front windshield or the driver and/or passenger windows. I have 5% on every window beside the windshield. The front is 35% full front.Also i have no local cops just State cops who hate.

PA is worse. Your not allow to have tint. I have to get mine remove because i got pulled over for lights.

Indiana isn't to strict, I believe legal is 35% and 50% windshield. That being said I have 5 on the sides and 35 in the front and absolutly love it. I will throw some new pics up later tonight.

In PA the lowest we can have is 70%, I just got pulled over for tint, I have 5% on the back, and 35% on the front, plus my tails are tinted. I have had the tint on windows and tails for almost 3 years now and this was the first time any cop has ever bothered me about it, even an unmarked statie who pulled me over for speeding at 11:30 at night didn't say a word about it being to dark. Luckily I found a way to get out of it without having to remove my tint. The way PA laws are written about tint is the biggest cluster**** you will ever see lol, it technically states

Ch. 45 75 Section 4524 (e)(1)

(e) Sun screening and other materials prohibited.

(1) No person shall drive any motor vehicle with any sun screening device or other material which does not permit a person to see or view the inside of the vehicle through the windshield, side wing or side window of the vehicle.

Says nothing about percentages.......and its also the opinion of the person whether or not you can view inside
